Alone in space after his battle against the Tormocks, Guy Gardner crash lands on an alien planet. He stumbles into a bar and finds a slave racket selling former Green Lanterns. Gardner lashes out at the sight of his former brothers in arms treated like that, so he frees them from their chains. Along with K’ryssma, Guy tracks the one responsible for selling the Green Lanterns.
Guy breaks into the slave ship and fights his way to the prison holding the Green Lanterns, some known to Guy, like Salakk and Brik. After breaking more Green Lanterns loose, Guy comes face to face with the one responsible: his evil doppleganger, Joe Gardner.
